The Bible gives us guidelines on how to live

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus answered him, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ All of Moses’ Teachings and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.”

This passage is the response Jesus gives to a Pharisee who tests Jesus by asking him which is the greatest commandment in Moses’ Teachings. This is clearly one that we should all do our best to live by. If we can master these two, everything else will fall into place. Throughout the Bible there are many commands and ways for us to better live out our lives. God does not give us his word out of mere power and a need for control, but rather because he wants us to live life to the fullest.

The Bible is full of ways for us to live our life and we should not be intimidated by it but dig into it. By looking into God’s word and how he intends for us to live will lead to a fuller life. So we need to make sure that we are constantly digging deep into his word. Remember the two greatest commandments and live them out!
